Ingredients

  • 5 5 Gluten-Free Hot Cross Buns

  • 1 1/2 Cup 1 1/2 Milk

  • 1/2 Cup 1/2 Cream

  • 1/2 Cup 1/2 Sugar

  • 2 2 Eggs

  • 1 Tsp 1 Vanilla

  • 2 Tsp 2 Cinnamon

  • 60 g 60 Butter

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Chop the gluten-free hot cross buns into rough slices and place them into a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the hot cross buns and gently mix until all pieces are coated.
  • Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish.
  • Break the butter into small pieces and scatter evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle some more cinnamon over the top.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden and set.
  • Serve warm with cream, ice cream, or custard.
