Gluten-Free Cornflake Crack.

After seeing Christmas Crack everywhere on socials, I knew I needed to make a gluten-free version!

This recipe delivers the perfect balance of crunch and sweetness and is incredibly moreish.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups 3 Gluten-Free Cornflakes

  • 1/2 Cup 1/2 Brown Sugar

  • 125 g 125 Butter

  • 1 Teaspoon 1 Vanilla Paste

  • 1 Block 1 Toblerone (or chocolate of your choosing)

Directions

  • Heat the brown sugar, butter and vanilla till the sugar has melted and it’s fully combined.
  • Add the cornflakes and mix until evenly coated.
  • Add to a lined tray, then flatten.
  • Place into a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 5 minutes (set a timer for this because it will burn)
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool.
  • Add your favourite melted chocolate on top and allow to fully set in the fridge.
  • Crack and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use your favourite chocolate to top the crack with.
  • I use the Kelloggs Cornflakes but there are alternatives also available at the supermarket
